It sure has been a little nutty for me the past few days. I'm usually right on with my challenges, but this week I'm a little later than usual with my submission to The Paper Players Color Challenge.
Actually, Color Challenges are my favorite, and my absolute favorite colors are in this week's Challenge; Midnight Muse, Summer Starfruit and Primrose Petals. They're all part of Stampin' Up!'s 2012-2014 In Colors, and they are all beautiful…rich, clean and bright. There was no way I was going to miss this one!
So, here's my challenge card. Not only were the challenge colors my inspiration, but I've been wanting to use the Boutique Blossom stamp for the past week. It's bold, clean and bright…just like the colors, and I think they're made for each other.
The Boutique Blossom stamp is from Stampin' Up's Single Stamps collection. Stampin' Up! says "it's chic, sleek, and straight from a boutique!"
I hand cropped the blossoms, attached them to my card base with some dimensionals, and used the Patio Party Designer Series Paper to add a little more color and give the blossoms a base.
I didn't think this card needed much embellishment, so I chose just a little Primrose Petals Stitched Satin ribbon (which is gorgeous, by the way!), and a little oval frame for my sentiment.
The "Here's to You" sentiment is from the Friendly Phrases stamp set.
I think it all pulled together well, and I had a lot of fun creating this card.
Here's to you!

Love this! Your use of the DP along with those beautiful flowers make for a wonderful card anyone would love to receive! Thanks for playing with the PP colors this week!
I love those big, bold flowers! I just got that stamp and haven’t gotten it inky yet. Thanks for the inspiration and for playing with us at the Paper Players this week!
