Another Sunday and another Paper Players Challenge. Okay, I know it's Monday, but you probably won't see this posted until Tuesday, so whatever day it is in blog time, here's my card for this week's Paper Players Clean and Simple Sketch Challenge #137.
It's a Clean and Simple Madison Avenue Medallion, embellished with some Pool Party and Primrose Petals. This card also qualifies for a "Quick & Easy"…I promise you that!
I used a Whisper White standard A-2 (4 1/4" X 5 l/2") card base and added a layer of 4" X 5 1/4" Whisper White. The layer would be my canvas.
I stamped three Madison Avenue Medallions on some Whisper White cardstock with Jet Black Staz On ink, and punched them out with a 1 1/4" circle punch. Stampin' Dimensionals are wonderful…and I used plenty of them here.
With my 1/2" circle punch, I punched out the Pool Party and Primrose Petals circles. I wanted a little more embellishment on the medallions, so I added some pretty "Bitty Buttons" and a few Pearl Basic Jewels. My Pool Party Seam Binding ribbon was just what this card needed to soften the look.
The sentiment had to be bold enough to stand along side the medallions, but soft enough to be sweet. "Just For You" does just that!

I love this, Debbie! The black really pops on the white card base, and I love the little pops of color with the buttons. Thanks for joining us again at the Paper Players this week!
I love this too! You have such good taste! I wouldn’t have thought to do this. I really like the colors and would not have thought to use the buttons there. I think I will have to case this but without the buttons since I don’t have those. lol. Of course I don’t have the paper either but I think I have a stamp that would look similar and go from there. I sure am glad I ran across your site Debbie! Have a great day tomorrow!
Super cute…I love the pop of color on top of the black! So glad you could play with the Paper Players this week!
Always love coming to see your cards! Great as always! Love the Pool Party and Black together! Thank you for joining us at the Paper Players this week!
