Here's to Ann's "Happy Fall Y'All" Paper Players Theme Challenge. Fall is my favorite time of year. I enjoy the crisp mornings, cooler temperatures, beautiful colors on the trees, and finally opening the windows so the breeze can blow through the house. Yep, I'm ready, and it officially happens on September 22nd here in the Northern Hemisphere.
So, today's card is a mix to celebrate Fall and to remind us all to always be grateful for the good in our lives.
- I used a Very Vanilla card base and attached a small strip of Stampin' Up!'s new "Color Me Autumn" Designer Series Paper.
- The leaves from the new "Fall Fest" stamp set are stamped with Blackberry Bliss, Hello Honey and Mossy Meadow ink and cropped with the matching Fun Fall framelits.
- My banner is cut from Tangelo Twist cardstock and I created the pretty bottom edge with a quick two punches using the Label Bracket Punch.
- I went for the gold with a new Metallic Gold Button framed with some Linen Thread.
So, grab your favorite Fall colors, crop a few leaves and create something colorful and crisp.
