Hello friends and happy Tuesday to you!

I went off the grid for today’s post and here’s my Stampin’ Story…

It’s a rare occasion that I don’t use Stampin’ Up! products for my blog projects, but I really wanted to share this card.  I’m sure this won’t come as a surprise to you, but I have a decent amount of patterned paper tucked away in my craft room. My friend and team member, Barbara, came over last week to do some stamping.  She brought over the Tea Together stamp set and the Tea Time Dies. I don’t own either of them so naturally, I wanted to “play”. This stamp set is so pretty.

Keeping in line with the natural order of my creative process, I already made up my mind that I was going to use the tea pot but I wasn’t sure how.  My patterned paper stash came out and several pieces made their way to the floor… I always sit on the floor when I’m matching my patterned paper, it’s part of my process!  So, the patterned paper for today’s project is not Stampin’ Up!, but I thought it was such a good fit for the lines of the tea pot image.

This was another quick card to put together. The tea pot image was stamped with Versa Mark and heat embossed with gold embossing powder.  I stamped the sentiment with Soft Suede ink. Soft Suede is a great color to pair with the warm pinks and corals because it’s a warm brown.

I don’t have a color palette posted today, but I did use Blushing Bride card stock as a mat for the patterned paper layers.

So, grab a beautiful tea pot image, match up some patterned paper and create something pretty!
