Happy Saturday!
Today’s post is another Sneak Peek at Stampin’ Up!’s new In Colors! You’ll be able to get them in just over two weeks and that’s exciting! Stampin’ Up!’s artists come up with new colors each year to keep up to date with the latest trends in color and to complement our existing colors.
This card is a simple design using the In Bloom Bundle and all of the new In Colors. When I was putting this card together, my goal was to illustrate to you how each color works alone, with one other color or how all five can beautifully complement each other. It’s interesting, right?
Also, if you look at each one of Stampin’ Up!’s color groups – Brights, Subtles, Regals, and Neutrals, you’ll see that each color of the group can do the same. If you chose one color in the Brights Collection, you can match it up with just about any other color in the Brights Collection. I love to talk about color and thought I would share this bit of information with you. I’ve tried it with some card color combinations and it works. Let me know if you tried it and how it worked for you.
So, rather than tell you to pull out your colored cardstock, add four different colored blooms and create your own Color Collection, I want to close with a “Creativity Quote” I recently saw written by Mary Lou Cook.
“Creativity is inventing, experimenting, growing, taking risks, breaking rules, making mistakes and having fun!”
…the only limitation is your imagination!
