I love the name Abigail Rose! It’s so pretty and Abigail Rose is the perfect name for this new Product Suite. It’s featured on pages 56 and 57 in the 2022-2023 Annual Catalog. The Suite includes the Cottage Rose Stamp set and Cottage Flowers Dies. These products make up the Cottage Rose Bundle. Stampin’ Up! “Bundles” stamp sets and coordinating dies to save you 10%.
The Abigail Rose Designer Series Paper is part of this Product Suite. What can I say? I had the paper before I purchased the Cottage Rose Bundle. Odd, but true! I always look at the Designer Series Paper first, then decide on the rest. The Abigail Rose Designer Series Paper features the softer shades of Very Vanilla, Petal Pink, Smoky Slate and Crumb Cake. Mix these neutrals with the deep tones of Early Espresso and Basic Black and you have a winner!
Today’s Card Pieces And Parts
- Today’s card is so easy to prepare and assemble.
- The card base is Smoky Slate cardstock, cut at 4 1/4″ x 11″ and scored at 5 1/2″.
- The Very Vanilla layer is 4 1/8″ x 5 3/8″.
- The circle pattern Designer Series Paper layer is 4″ x 5 1/4″.
- I used one of the Deckled Rectangles Dies to cut the Petal Pink striped Designer Series Paper. It measures 3 1/4″ x 4 1/2″.
- The “notebook” page ledger patterned paper layer is 3″ x 4 1/4. This layer is also die cut with one of the Deckled Rectangles Dies.
- I used the “notebook” edge die from the Blossoming Happiness Dies to give this layer a page torn out of a notebook look.
- The flower cluster from the Cottage Rose stamp set is stamped with Smoky Slate ink onto Very Vanilla cardstock.
- I die cut the “cottage rose” cluster with the coordinating die from the Cottage Flowers Dies.
- Petal Pink and Soft Succulent ink, along with a sponge dauber, helped me give a color shading to the flower cluster.
- I cut about 9″ of the Natural Finish Ribbon, folded it and angle cut the ends. This ribbon is soft and supple. It’s stunning!
- The Champagne Rhinestone Basic Jewels are a great embellishment for this Product Suite.
- I stamped the sentiment with Smoky Slate ink directly on the patterned paper.
So, treat yourself to the Abigail Rose Product Suite, cut a few layers, blend and shade with ink, and create something pretty!
