Nature's Prints And Timeworn Type

I’m getting my craft space ready to design some Sneak Peeks of some of the new products in the July-December 2022 Mini. Oh, what fun is ahead!

When Stampin’ Up! launched the new Annual Catalog, the Sun Prints Suite is the first I inked and cut. Today’s card showcases the Nature’s Prints Bundle that includes the Nature’s Prints stamp set and Natural Prints Dies.

Inspiration for this card came from a card I put together this past weekend. Stampin’ Up! hosted a “Creativity Now” virtual workshop for Demonstrators. We made cards with some of the Stampin’ Up! Concept Artists and fellow demonstrators. They designed the projects with a Product Suite that will be available in the new Mini Catalog. I used the Sun Prints Suite for my projects.

Today’s Card Pieces and Parts

Cut a Night of Navy card base 4 1/4″ x 11″ and score at 5 1/2″.
Cut a Night of Navy card layer 3 3/4″ x 5″.
Stamp the large Ginko flower from the Nature’s Prints stamp set with Crushed Curry ink onto Basic White cardstock.
Using Basic White cardstock and the Natural Prints dies, die cut the stamped Ginko flower, two smaller sprigs, two long springs, and the sentiment label to create a cluster of elements.
Stamp the sentiment with Night of Navy Ink.
Emboss the smaller Night of Navy layer using the Timeworn Type Embossing Folder.
With a Blending Brush and Craft White ink pad, lightly brush ink over the entire embossed layer.
Adhere the element cluster to the center of the embossed card layer, attaching the Basic White sprig die cuts first.
The large Crushed Curry flower is attached with Dimensionals over the Basic White die cut sprigs.
Before attaching the layer to the card base, wrap some White 1/4″ Crinkle Seam Binding Ribbon around the layer a little less than 1 1/2″ from the bottom of the layer.
Attached the sentiment label with Dimensionals and add a ribbon bow with a glue dot.
