Celebrate With Tags, Love and Snowflakes

Hello there and hope you’re having a “get crafty” day!

Today’s post is showcasing the Celebrate With Tags Bundle. I’ve used this bundle for a few cards I’ve recently posted, but they weren’t for the holiday season. They’re celebrating birthdays! I have another Fun Fold almost ready to go that celebrates a birthday with this Bundle, as well. The Celebrate With Tags Bundle is a really great find. You can create adorable tags, cards, and even a little gift card holder for any celedbration, including celebrating YOU! I think we all have to celebrate ourselves, don’t you?

While I was preparing my parts and pieces for this card, I noticed the detailed stitching on the tag, snowflake and hewart dies. This led me to use Crumb Cake cardstock. I wanted to accent the snowflakes, and found this snowflake patterned paper in the Santa Express DSP pack. Now I had my inspiration for the colors. I thought a little Poppy Parade (which is a great match to Shaded Spruce and Crumb Cake), would work well. This card design had to have a fun pop of color!

So, let’s get right to today’s project.

Today’s card Pieces and Parts

I cut a Basic White card base 4 1/4″ x 11″ and scored at 5 1/2″.
The Poppy Parade layer is 4 1/8″ x 5 3/8″.
I cut the Shaded Spruce layer 4″ x 5 1/4″.
The Shaded Spruce snowflake patterned paper layer is 3 3/4″ x 5″.
I die cut the tags using one of the dies in the Celebrations Tags Dies. This is a long die that cuts a tag you can fold. I cut the tag(s) at the score line in the die cut and created two tags from the one die.
The mittens are stamped with Poppy Parade ink and die cut with the coordinating die.
The snowflakes and hearts are also die cut with the coordinating dies.

I stamped the inside of the card with Shaded Spruce ink.
The inverted scalloped border is a scrap from a border I cut. (It’s always helpful to save those scraps).
I die cut a Shaded Spruce heart and attached it to bottom corner of the inside.

So, get that one great Bundle that can work for so many projects, add lots of snowflakes, a little love and create something to add to your holiday card collection!
