Happy Tuesday! I have a short Stampin’ Story to share today.
Lacking inspiration, I looked through the Mini Catalog samples. I saw a card on the page featuring the Ringed With Nature Bundle. My intention was to very closely CASE that card. It’s done with Poppy Parade and Mossy Meadow cardstock, and the sentiment is embossed in white. Then, I looked at the next page and saw a card that used the embossing folder from the Ringed With Nature Bundle. I combined both of those card samples, and came up with today’s design. All of the Stampin’ Up! Catalogs showcase amazing project inspiration.
Today’s Card Pieces And Parts
- I cut a Poppy Parade card base 4 1/4″ x 11″ and scored at 5 1/2″.
- The Shaded Spruce mat layer is 4″ x 5 1/4″, and the embossed layer is 3 3/4″ x 5″.
- I used my Stitched Rectangle Dies to die cut the Basic White top layer. It measures 2 1/4″ x 3 1/2″.
- The center tree ring is stamped off once with Soft Suede ink. I fussy cut it and attached it to the center of the white rectangle.
- This made it easy to layer the fussy cut poinsettia and die cut leaf elements to the layer.
- Fussy cutting the tree ring and flower was quick and easy.
So, take a look at some Catalog samples, combine two cards, and create something fun!
