Today’s super easy card uses the Hues of Happiness Suite. The Happiness Abounds Bundle makes it so easy to create amazing designs with little effort. Of course, the Hues of Happiness Designer Series Paper is just plain beautiful!! It allows you to create die cut elements you can cluster or use alone.
I know you’re probably seeing Hues of Happiness all over. It’s also featured on the cover of the 2022 2023 Annual Catalog. Having said that, creating with this Suite makes me happy! I love sharing it with you.
Today’s Card Bits & Pieces
- The offset layering on my card was inspired by a card I saw in my web travels. The card didn’t showcase Stampin’ Up! products, and I don’t have anything other than Stampin’ Up! products, so I improvised and created my own layer dimensions.
- The card bits and pieces are in the photo below. Click the button below to download the PDF Tutorial you can print or view in your browser.
- I always add the sentiment to my card designs last. Today is no exception.
- When I went to add a sentiment to the card front, I thought I was covering too much of the die cut layer.
- The sentiment is on the inside of the card.
The Inside Story
- The flower image and sentiment are in the Happiness Abounds stamp set. That stamped flower is so pretty!
- The “best wishes” sentiment is a one-line stamp. It was too long to sit next to the flower image.
- I covered the word “wishes” with a piece of tape and stamped “best”.
- Then I covered the word “best” with a piece of tape and stamped “wishes”.
- Be sure you remove your tape or sticky note BEFORE you stamp your cardstock. Trust me on this! 🙂
So, treat yourself to this beautiful suite, cut a few layers, die cut flowers, add some ink splatter and create something happy. Remember, Happiness Abounds!!
… the only limitation is your imagination!
