I had an entirely different post planned for you today, but got a little sidetracked by this very interesting design.
I was wandering through some paper crafters' sites and came across the design for this card. It was created by Sharon Harnist of Paperfections. I changed up the color scheme and added different style stamping, but the general design is the same.
Here I used a Very Vanilla card base with Stampin' Up's new Soho Subway Designer Series Paper. My sentiment is from the Vintage Verses stamp set and my stamped embellishment is from the Kindness Matters stamp set. Both are stamped with Early Espresso ink.
This card was very easy to create and lots of fun. If you like punch art and love to play with patterned paper, give this a try.
Here's the how to:
- Punch 9 1 1/2" circles and score at 1/4" on all sides.
- Fold the scored edges in toward the center.
- This creates a 1" square.
- Attach the squares to your card base to create a pattern you like.
That's it, you're done!
I wish you hadn’t posted this! Now I HAVE to try it this weekend and my to-do list was already too long!! Haha
Great card and fabulous colors!
