"Clean, Simple, Silver or Gold" is this week's Paper Players' theme challenge from Sandy. My "Christmas Bliss" gold creation is clean and simple without a doubt. I guarantee you'll put this card together in less than 10 minutes.
No kidding, the most time consuming part of the card was threading the Gold Metallic Baker's twine through the Gold Metal Button and getting that "perfect" knot.
So, here's the how to:
- Start with a standard A-2 card base (5 1/2" X 4 1/4");
- Add a layer of polka dot "Fancy Foil Designer Vellum (3" X 4 3/8")
- Stamp the "Christmas Bliss" sentiment (from the "Christmas Bliss" stamp set) in Gold Metallic ink. I hand cropped the banner framing the sentiment (3 3/8" X 1 3/8") after I stamped the sentiment.
- Add a Gold Foil hand cropped banner just under the sentiment banner (3 1/2" X 1")
- Thread a Gold Metal Button with some Gold Metallic Baker's Twine and attach to the sentiment banner with a glue dot.
- DONE!
I know you know you can create this simple card with any pattern, color and sentiment, so go ahead and create something beautiful!
