It’s Friday and I hope you have fun card making and paper crafting plans for the weekend.
Today’s post is Clean and Simple and Quick and Easy without a doubt.
The Dove of Hope stamp set has bolder images and a fun, bolder font. Night of Navy and Old Olive have been a long time favorite color combination of mine and when paired with Whisper White, a clean, crisp color palette is achieved. A dove with an olive branch needs a clean, crisp color palette.
I started with a Night of Navy card base, added Whisper White and Old Olive layers, and stamped the dove and sentiment with Night of Navy. The olive branch is stamped with Early Espresso which is the perfect “neutral” for Night of Navy and Old Olive. I colored the leaves with my Blender Pen and some Old Olive ink.
The inside sentiment completes the peaceful message of this card…. Peace, Joy, Love … and hope in your heart.
So, find your clean, crisp color palette, stamp a few peaceful images and create something clean and simple.
The only limitation is your imagination!
Beautiful simplicity – and gorgeous layers.
Thank you always, Brian!
Beautiful! Love this! Can you provide measurements?
Hi Colleen. Thank you for your kindness! Here are the card measurements: The Night of Navy card base is a standard A-2 card size. Measures 4 1/4″ X 5 1/2″ folded. The bottom Whisper White layer is 4″ X 5 1/4″. The Old Olive Layer is 5 1/8″ X 3 7/8″ and the top layer is 3 5/8″ X 4 7/8″. Hope this helps. Enjoy creating your project.
