My inspiration for today’s project was the curvy pine trees stamp in the Curvy Christmas stamp set. These pine trees look like a hand drawn sketch of a country mountain view.
The first thought that came to me was the very popular “barnyard” look. That signaled the Plaid Tidings Designer Series Paper. I’ve been wanting to use the black and white plaid and wanted to use it with Cherry Cobbler, so I created Cherry Cobbler snow. Once I had my pine trees and snow, I stamped the very simple and perfectly sized Merry Christmas in Cherry Cobbler. Now I had plenty of Cherry Cobbler mixed with the black and white plaid. That made me happy but I needed just one more color and I know you know what I’m going to say. Yes, “when in doubt, go with yellow”. So, I stamped the adorable mini stars with Bumblebee ink.
The Curvy Dies coordinate perfectly with the curved stamps making it quick and easy to get the “curvy” look.
