Today’s post is a mix of classic old and classic new. It features a Sneak Peek at the Well Suited Designer Series Paper and the Many Messages Bundle. Both will be in the 2021 January-June Mini Catalog scheduled to go live on January 5th. That’s less than a week away!
I can’t show you the actual paper, but I will tell you that this Designer Series Paper is a must. The patterns are perfect for the product Suite they’re part of but the designs are once again beautifully versatile.
For my card today, I chose to go with a Basic Gray, Smoky Slate and Whisper White dotted pattern. The Designer Series Paper color palette was my color inspiration, and my card design inspiration came from a past post which I added below. I accented the patterned paper with a Smoky Slate card base and Basic Black, Whisper White and Silver Foil cardstock layers and shapes.
The Happy Birthday sentiment is part of the new Many Messages Bundle. The Bundle features sentiment images that can be stamped all at once and cropped with the matching die. I tried it and liked the idea. I used this sentiment for my card today and saved the others for future projects.
Any of the “shapes” dies are basic card making staples that you’ll use time and again. My card today features the stitched circles from the Stitched Shapes Dies and the Stitched Stars Dies. Both have proven to be great additions to my card making tools. If you don’t already have them, think about adding them to your new Wish List.
I finished my card with a little Basic Gray stamped ink splatter and a few white resin dots from All The Trimmings Embellishments.
So, crop a few circles, add a few stars and a sentiment, and create a simple and versatile card.
