Welcome to the Stampin’ Pretty Pals’ Blog Hop!

This month, the theme is Sale-A-Bration. We hope that you will be inspired by the creations the Pals are sharing with you! You will find the lineup at the end of my post to help you “hop” along from Pal to Pal.

Can you notice the die cut circle in the center of my card? It has a little “pull tab” on the right. Well, if you pull up the tab, you will definitely be surprised. Under the bright and fun element cluster is a “Hooray” sentiment, just for you!

The Hooray For Surprises Bundle is featured in my post today, and I’m also showcasing both the Sunny Days and Most Adored Designer Series Paper packs. They’re both in the Sale-A-Bration Brochure and are free with a $50 product purchase. You can get the Hooray For Surprises Bundle and pick a pretty pack of Designer Series Paper to make lots of “surprise” cards to share.

Here are a few more cards I put together with this Bundle and the featured Designer Series Paper. Once I got started, I was able to breeze through constructing the surprise layers in no time at all.

  • There are Video and PDF Tutorials below that will give more “construction” details.
  • The Pool Party cardstock card base is 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″, scored at 4 1/4″.
  • The large Basic White mat layer is 3 3/4″ x 5″.
  • The floral patterned paper layer is 3 5/8″ x 4 7/8″.
  • The Pool Party small cardstock layer is 3 1/2″ x 3″.
  • The Pool Party patterned paper layer is 3 3/8″ x 2 7/8″.
  • There’s a secret Basic White layer that you will need. It’s 3 1/4″ x 2 3/4″.
  • I stamped the flowers with Petal Pink and Sweet Sorbet ink, and die cut them with the coordinating dies.
  • There are a few Basic Black die cut sprigs, and Basic White small flowers. These are also die cuts using the Hooray For Surprises Dies.
  • I stamped the sentiment with Black Memento ink and hand cropped the banner.
  • I dotted the centers of the small flowers with my Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blend.

You can click on the button below to download the PDF Tutorial with more assembly details and photos.

If you’re more of a visual learner, as I am, you can download the Video Tutorial below.

So, do you love surprises? Or better than that, do you love to send surprises. The Hooray For Surprises Bundle is one of those that is fresh and fun. I know you’ll have as much fun with it as I did. Remember…

More inspiration awaits, so use the lineup below to visit the rest of the Design Team. Then, please mark your calendars for our next blog hop next month, when our theme will be “Love is in the Air” on February 14th.

Until then, have fun in your craft space.
