Look at the embossed background for this card. I used the Forever Plaid 3D Embossing Folder to get this detailed, classic design. You can only imagine how pretty the embossing looks. The photo doesn’t do it the justice it deserves.
It was so easy to make this simple card. Aside from the textured background layer, I used one of the Spotlight On Nature Dies to die cut the reindeer and birds directly from the Sentimental Christmas Designer Series Paper. The designs in the DSP are sweet and nostalgic, bringing back years-ago Christmases. By the way, Stampin’ Up! will donate $3.00 to support children’s literacy for each Sentimental Christmas Designer Series Paper pack sold. Other than the beautiful designs, that’s a pretty good reason to get a pack for yurself.

Parts And Pieces
- I cut a Thick Basic White cardstock card base 4 1/4″ x 11″, and scored it at 5 1/2″.
- The Shaded Spruce embossed cardstock layer is 3 1/2″ x 5″.
- I cut a Poppy Parade cardstock layer 2″ x 3 1/4″, and rounded the corners with a corner round punch.
- The reindeer die cut circle is about 2 5/8″ in diameter.
- The flagged Pecan Pie and white patterned paper banner is 1″ x 3 1/2″.
- I stamped the sentiment with VersaMark ink and embossed it using white embossing powder. The layer measures 3/8″ x 3″.
- Assemble the focal point cluster as shown and adhere it to the card front.
- I embellished with Pecan Pie Ribboned Adhesive Backed Dots.
I thought it would be fun to share a Sketch of this card design. Sketches make it easy to create your personal designs using different Designer Series Paper and color combinations. Have fun with it.
