Today celebrates another Mojo Monday Sketch Challenge and another one of "My Favorites" from Stampin' Up!'s Holiday Catalog.
Here's another of "My Favorites" from Stampin' Up!'s Holiday Catalog. The stamp set, "Howl-o-ween Treat" and matching framelits, "Boo To You" are brilliantly bundled to save you 15%.
This is another set that you will use over and over again. Match it up with "Happy Haunting" Designer Series Paper and the "Happy Haunting" card stock pack and you're ready for all your Halloween cards and tags. This card was so quick and easy to put together.
I did take a little creative license today… with the sketch and with the sentiment. The sentiment is actually from last year's Holiday Catalog. It was the perfect size for this design, so I went with it.
With my witch's hat and magical wand, I wish you all Happy Haunting and lots of Halloween fun.
So, grab your favorite "bundle" and stamp and crop something fabulous.
Over the weekend I spoke with my sister who happened to be exhausted after a day of pumpkin picking with her grandchildren. Annie is a very "hands on" grandmother and I love to hear her stories about my great nieces.
So, I have to say, not only was I inspired by Debbie Carriere's latest Mojo Monday Sketch Challenge, I was inspired by my sister's story to create this card for the kids for Halloween. I really do enjoy sending hand made cards to all who are special to me and this one will be on its way very soon.
I really like this color combination. The Sahara Sand card base and accent layers gives a little bit of originality to the traditional Halloween orange and black.
With Stampin' Up!'s "Fall Fest" stamp set and matching "Fun Fall" framelits, I stamped and cropped the pumpkins in no time at all. "Motley Monsters" Designer Series Paper was my color inspiration.
Nothing makes your hand made card more of a "gift" than a matching lined envelope. The envelope liner is cropped with the Envelope Liners Framelits Dies, perfectly sized for the standard A-2 card.
A little Linen Thread and a Basic Black Candy Dot are just enough embellishment to balance the design.
So, stamp a few pumpkins and create something wonderful.

I enjoy making collage cards and by now you probably know that framelits are a definite staple for me. I always keep my circles and squares collections framelits very close by whenever I sit down to make a card.
There's lots of white space here so that the colors would pop and there's just a touch of Pool Party to soften the look.
This is a very Quick & Easy design with a Clean and Simple look.

Time for another Paper Players Challenge. This week, Ann Marie's Clean and Simple Challenge is all about the kids!
Aren't these the happiest ghosts! Today's post features some really neat punch art. The ghosts are punched with the Owl's body from Stampin' Up's Owl Builder Punch. Clever, quick and easy! These little "owl" ghosts have been around for a while, but not with these smiley faces!
I made a card today, but these little ghosts can be added to goodie bag tags or little gift box tags.
I definitely didn't fussy cut the smiles on these ghosts, but I did punch them with my corner round punch.
I discovered this completely by accident…I was working on another card using my corner round punch and the corner scrap was laying on my card mat. Within a few seconds, I had three of the cutest smiles for my ghosts!
I thought I would use a few Basic Black Candy Dots for the eyes, but couldn't resist using some left over Googly Eyes from Stampin' Up's Halloween celebration last year.
"Happy Halloween" is stamped with Jet Black Staz On ink onto a hand cropped Pumpkin Pie flagged banner.
A little embellishment goes a long way. Some Basic Black 1/8" Taffeta Ribbon finished off the banner.
Pumpkin Pie Polka Dot Parade Designer Series Paper makes a beautiful envelope liner which is cut perfectly with my new Envelope Liners Framelits Dies.

Today, I set out to do a "Catalog" CASE. For those who don't know what that is, it's a Copy and Share Everything from the Stampin' Up! Catalogs.
This card inspiration came from page 43…so if you check the current Catalog, you'll see that I copied the basic card idea, but since I didn't have that stamp (which, by the way is adorable), I had to take a slightly different direction.
The colors prompted me to think "Halloween" and my "Happy Halloween" sentiment stamp from the Seasonal Sayings stamp set had just the right dimensions to re-create the sentiment banner.
As for the embossed circle, I thought the Chevron Embossing Folder would work well;
A little scrap of black from Modern Medley Designer Series Paper and some Washi Tape from Epic Day This and That worked for me…just enough. I wanted my sentiment to pop, not the flagged banners.
I love to embellish with the Candy Dots…they really are cute…so I added a Basic Black "Dot" to the sentiment banner. My sentiment banner got some embellishment and I kept the design Clean and Simple…also "Quick & Easy"!
It's been a while since I used my Pumpkin Pie card stock. Wow, what a deep, rich Fall color it is! Combined with Basic Black and a dab of Daffodil Delight, it's stunning!
