Sneak Peek – Sparkle of the Season!

Happy Thursday!

Today, I decided to celebrate Christmas in July!

My card showcases the Sparkle of the Season Bundle.  It’s in the upcoming Mini Catalog and will be available to you on August 3rd. That’s only a few weeks away.

A fabulous and versatile Bundle, Sparkle Of The Season creates beautiful wreath designs for any occasion.  The Sparkle of the Season Stamp set has images for Fall, Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas.  The matching Seasonal Swirl Dies make it easy to create amazing projects that look as though you worked for hours.

Along with a Sneak Peek of the Sparkle of the Season Bundle, the buffalo checked patterned paper I’m showcasing today is a design from the Peaceful Prints Designer Series Paper and it’s FREE with a $50 product purchase as Sale-A-Bration kicks off with the launch of the new Mini.

I have one more Sneak Peek in today’s card. It’s the beautiful Black and White Gingham Ribbon.  It’s 1/4″ wide, is soft and easy to tie. This ribbon is so typical of Stampin’ Up! quality.

I hope you enjoy time in your craft space and remember…

…the only limitation is your imagination!

Just a reminder, 15% off select Designer Series Paper now through August 2nd!  Click the images below for more details.

FREE PDF Tutorial – Hello Sweet Strawberries!

It’s Friday and hope you’ve been having a great week.  This has been quite a week for me and I don’t know how I got from Sunday to Friday in a flash, but I did.

Today’s post celebrates the return of the Sweet Strawberry Bundle.  I love everything about the Bundle.  The Sweet Strawberry stamp set has a nice variety of adorable mixed font sentiment stamps and sweet images.  The stamp set is one of Stampin’ Up!’s Distinktive stamp sets.  The stamps create different opacities in a single stamped image.  Notice the lighter shading in the strawberries.  There’s no special technique involved. Just the stamp and your ink pad!  The stamp is shaded that way.

This is a quick and easy card to put together.  With the help of the Scalloped Contours Dies, I was able to add some “scalloped” edges to this design.  I know you know what I’m going to say next.  Yes, lots of pattern repeat, and I know you know what the pattern repeat is.  Yes, lots of circles!  Repeating patterns always works.

I’ve always been a fan of Pool Party and Real Red together, so it was pretty easy to choose my colors.

No post would be complete without a bit of card inspiration.  Below are cards I created using products from the new annual catalog.

This card features the new Pansy Petals Suite.  I die cut the pansy images directly from the Pansy Petals Designer Series Paper using the coordinating Pansy Dies. This Suite is featured on pages 28 and 29.

The card below also features the Pansy Petals Suite.  The pansy is cut with the Pansy Dies and the sentiment is from the Pansy Patch stamp set.  The patterned paper is from the Pansy Petals Designer Series Paper and the little gold Bumble Trinket is part of the Suite.

My next card showcases designs from the Hand Penned Suite.  This Suite is featured on pages 104 and 105 in the catalog.  I designed both cards using the Hand Penned Memories and More Card Pack.

Below is a card I created using the Color & Contour Bundle on page 98 in the catalog. The stamp set has a watercolor look and the dies are a “must have”.

I had some fun with the Pattern Play Designer Series Paper.  This is a Hostess Designer Series Paper Pack.  The designs are amazing.  The Pattern Play Designer Series Paper is on page 171 in the catalog.  Both cards above and below use patterns from the DSP.

The card below features another striped pattern from the Pattern Play DSP.

Paper Pumpkin Remix – A Rainbow of Color!

Isn’t it great to start your Monday with a rainbow? And there are two of them.  Happy Monday, indeed!

We have a fun week ahead.  The customer launch of Stampin’ Up!’s new Annual Catalog is tomorrow.  You’ve probably seen so many wonderful Sneak Peeks, but there’s more to come. I can promise you that. I’ll have a downloadable PDF of the new catalog available for  you tomorrow and yes, I can now show you pictures of the new products and many more cards for your inspiration.  So, stay tuned and keep checking in.

Aren’t these cards the cutest?  This month’s Paper Pumpkin Kit is full of bright colors that shout warmer weather and lots of sunshine.  I’m not a big fan of shaped cards, but I knew these rainbows would brighten someone’s birthday.  I used two of the die cut rainbows from the kit.  With Dimensionals, I attached one on a Bermuda Bay card layer and one on Granny Apple Green.  The sun sticker had to be at the end of each rainbow which is exactly where the sun should be!  I added a little sparkle under the sentiment banner and popped on a few Clear Epoxy Droplets.  Two cards in just a few minutes.

There’s plenty more imagination in this Kit.  I’m sure I’ll have fun remaking the rest of it. I will share more of it with you.

For more details on the Paper Pumpkin Monthly Kit, click here.

So, find a rainbow, add sunshine at the end, a few colorful layers and some sparkle, and create something colorful and happy!

…the only limitation is your imagination!

Sneak Peek! A Hand Penned Hello!

Happy Tuesday to you all!

Today’s card is a Sneak Peek at what you can expect in the new Hand Penned Product Suite.  The floral patterns are “hand penned” and water colored. The coordinating colors in the Suite are Blushing Bride, Pale Papaya, Daffodil Delight, Garden Green, Mint Macaron and Highland Heather.

This clean and simple card is one of the cards from the coordinating Hand Penned Memories and More Card Pack.  The card is 4″ x 6″.  I trimmed it to 5 1/4″ x 4″ to fit easily on a Highland Heather cardstock layer. The sentiment is from the Love of Leaves stamp set. I couldn’t resist adding the little bee from the Garden Wishes stamp set. He’s having so much fun jumping from flower to flower. I enjoy pulling from other sets. It makes a card more personal and unique.

The Hand Penned Suite Collection will be available with the Annual Catalog customer launch on May 4th.  The Suite includes the following products:

  • The Hand Penned Petals Bundle (the Hand Penned Petals Photopolymer Stamp Set and the Penned Flowers Dies) Bundles are always discounted 10%
  • Hand Penned 12″ x 12″ Designer Series Paper.  The Highland Heather patterned paper you see on the envelope flap is part of the Hand Penned DSP.
  • Genial Gems

The Hand Penned Memories and More Card Pack, which I used today is not part of the Suite, but is a coordinating item.

So, I hope you enjoyed today’s Sneak Peek.

Don’t forget about the Clearance Rack Refresh going on now.  You can click here or on the banner below for the products.
