Thank you for joining us for the April Pals Blog Hop! To celebrate Earth Day, the April blog hop features new cards and projects that capture the essence of Earth Day through colors and images and/or use recycled or reused elements. We hope you are ready for some fun and creative ideas.
You should have just left stop number16 on the Pals Hop, Linda Callahan at Stampin' Seasons. If so, you are in the right spot. If you get off track, the full blog lineup below will help you move along from blog to blog so you can see all of the amazing creations.
I really wanted to keep this card as "earthy" as possible so I stayed predominantly with the soft earth tones of Crumb Cake and Soft Suede. My color pops are also earth tones.
What's more earthy than a tree? This beautiful silhouette is from the Forever Young stamp set, and by design, I chose not to use a sentiment. I think the graceful silhouette does very well on its own.
Of course, there aren't many cards of mine that don't have at least a strip of patterned paper and this one is no exception. The Soft Suede Polka Dot paper is from the Neutrals Designer Series Paper Stack. The rest is from This and That Epic Day Designer Series Paper…and, Wow! is this DSP beautiful! I also used some washi tape from This and That, and I think I'm going to have some real fun with that washi tape!
The beautiful button up in the corner is from the Naturals Designer Buttons – a very "woodsy" button that's embellished with Natural Linen Thread.
Lots of earthy naturals are showcased today.
The next stop is Mary Fish at Stampin' Pretty, stop number 18 on the Pals Blog Hop!

I love this sweet silhouette! Simple and beautifully done!
So pretty! Love the simplicity of the card — it really makes the stamped image shine.
Very calm and serene. I can feel the breeze and hear the birds chirp.
Must echo all the comments made before me… beautiful in its simplicity, Debbie! I love your style!
Clever spot of fun with the washi tape and button. The art focus is one a person could crawl into – Like others, I felt I was there! Well done!
Beautifully simple and elegant. Shows us how beautiful a project can be even without the heavy embellishments. TFS
