It's Mojo Monday and I have a post ready on Monday… although it's just in time, it's still Monday!
A fun sketch today. I love the little hearts, but I was determined to get something in for Fall and our Thanksgiving Season so I switched it up a bit.
This is absolutely a Clean and Simple card to go along with the Clean and Simple Sketch.
Depending on what elements you choose to embellish the tag, this could also be a very "Quick & Easy". I chose to stamp, color and fussy cut a few acorns from the Truly Grateful Stamp Set so it took a few minutes longer. Those acorns look real! The detail in that stamp is beautiful.
I created my own tag with the help of my 1/2" circle punch and rounded the bottom corners to keep in form with the "rounded" acorn shape and the curved lines of my "Happy Thanksgiving" sentiment stamp.
I chose this stamp from the "Tags 4 You" stamp set because along with the curved lines, it also had some points… similar to my flagged banner. This helps to give this simple design a little balance.
There's not much else going on here except for the very soft ribbon bow. The Very Vanilla Seam Binding ribbon is so easy to work with and the result is always pretty!
Thanks for stopping by today. I wish you happy stampin'.
If these colors don't put you in the mood for the glorious Fall Season, nothing will …Always Artichoke, Cajun Craze and So Saffron.
So, here's another Stampin' Story…
Since I'm a member of the Pals Design Team, my card needs to be ready a few days before the Challenge goes live. With all the "Atlanta" excitement, and the Pals Blog Hop in its wake, I was a little later than usual completing my card.
I thought I knew what I was going to do and when I started, it just wasn't working. My original card was a completely different stamp set and totally different idea, so there I sat looking at my three pieces of gorgeous card stock. "These colors just scream "Fall", so I had to keep that theme.
So, after a little cropping, a little fussy cutting, a little stamping, and a whole lot of blender pen and ink coloring…there it was.
Ink up your stamps, pull out your card stock and link up with us. We all love to see your beautiful creations.
The Stampin' Pretty Pals are having a little fun over at their Gallery. We're playing "The Name Game".
So, since "Debbie, Debbie bo…bebby" (I guess it's "bo…bebby"!) begins with the letter "D", I had to create a card or project using Stampin' Up! supplies (stamps, punches, etc.) beginning with the letter "D".
When our "Fearless Leader", Mary Fish, came up with this fun idea, I went right to this set and stamped this simple and elegant Fall wreath.
Daydream Medallions coordinates perfectly with the Floral Framelits for the perfect crop and the Circles Collection Framelits gave my wreath a perfect center.
The "wreath" is stamped with Chocolate Chip ink and I added tiny touches of Pumpkin Pie, just for a little color.
The little Pumpkin Pie 1/8" Taffeta Ribbon bow is the perfect embellishment. Nothing more needed here.
My "Gratitude" sentiment, also stamped with Chocolate Chip ink, is from "Day of Gratitude", a retired stamp set, but still very much a favorite of mine and it begins with "D".
So, I hope you enjoy my little "D" is for Debbie and Daydream Medallion wreath. It's Clean and Simple and very Quick & Easy. Pull out your stamps and ink and have some Pals fun!
I've said it before, and I'll say it again…It sure is fun to be a Stampin' Pretty Pal!
Thanks, Mary…I've smiled lots tonight!

Today is a beautiful Fall day; there's a cool breeze and the sun is shining. I spent some time out in my yard this morning and noticed the leaves are just beginning to turn their beautiful Fall colors, there are little pops of bright yellow and orange – my inspiration for this card.
I'm showcasing a very Clean and Simple, Quick and Easy design today.
Layered rectangles with Chocolate Chip and Very Vanilla card stock, and some Sweater Weather Designer Series Paper;
