Today’s post is a Sneak Peek of the All About Autumn Suite Collection. A beautiful Suite, full of rich colors and amazing texture. All About Autumn will be available to customers with the launch of the new September-December 2023 Mini Catalog. The card I created to showcase the Suite is a close Catalog Case. I loved the design, colors, and texture the designers at Stampin’ Up! created, so I decided to try it.

Today’s Card Parts & Pieces
This is an easy design to put together. A little embossing, die cutting and layering gives you a design you can duplicate using many products you already own.
I cut a Very Vanilla cardstock card base 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ and scored at 4 1/4″.
The Designer Series Paper card front layer is 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″.
The leaves are die cuts, as is the sentiment layer.
Some embossing and embellishing finished this card nicely.

I designed today’s card using the Celebration Tidings Bundle. This Bundle was in the top three of my wish list and I’m so glad I got it. It’s been that one “go to” bundle for me.
My inspiration for this card was a wreath ornament. That’s what prompted me to add the circle frame behind the sentiment label.
I started with a few different color combinations and finally settled on Cinnamon Cider, Pretty Peacock and Crumb Cake. I’m usually drawn to oranges and blues when I have a choice and did it again in choosing this plaid pattern. I was contemplating cutting the sentiment label in Whisper White, but chose to go with Crumb Cake after a few color combination experiments. The Crumb Cake label gives this card a little more warmth which is what I wanted to achieve.
Coloring the pumpkins and leaves was easy with the fine tip of Light Cinnamon Cider, Light Pumpkin Pie and Light Old Olive Stampin’ Blends.
Below are my card measurements.
Cut a standard A-2 card base in Cinnamon Cider.
The Pretty Peacock layer is 4″ X 5 1/4″ and the Whisper White layer is 3 7/8″ X 5 1/8″.
I cut a circle frame with the Layering Circles Framelits, cut the sentiment label, heart and sprig using the Celebration Labels Dies and hand cropped the Plaid Tidings DSP flagged banner.
The size of the flagged banner is 1 1/4″ X 5″.
I also hand cropped the sentiment banner. It measures 1/2″ X 3 1/8″.

Today’s post is clean, simple and designed to show off another pattern in the Plaid Tidings Designer Series Paper.

I used the Country Home stamp set which is on page 89 in the Annual Catalog. While the stamped images are perfect for the Fall and Holiday Season, the sentiments are thankful and thoughtful for just about anything.
I haven’t done anything in Cinnamon Cider yet and when I was thinking about today’s post, Cinnamon Cider came to mind. It’s a rich cinnamon color with lots of red tones. It works well with this pattern from the Plaid Tidings Designer Series Paper which also features a hint of Shaded Spruce, a warm green, and lots of Rich Razzleberry. I kept this card simple to bring more attention to the patterned paper.
So, grab some warm toned, plaid DSP, add a little Cinnamon Cider sentiment (I can say that three times fast, can you?), and create something thoughtful!
The only limitation is your imagination!

Yesterday morning I took a walk into the park nearby my home. It was cool and the air was crisp… such a nice Fall morning. The trees are almost at peak and the leaves were falling as I was walking. When I sat down to create something for today's post, I wanted to create something to celebrate Fall.
"Truly Grateful" is a stamp set that was new to Stampin' Up! last year. I used it often and it's still one of my favorites. Match it with "Color Me Autumn" Designer Series Paper and you have a perfect Fall Celebration.
I love to "fussy cut" and did quite a bit of it here. Lots of dimension gives the already rich hues more depth, and lots of white space keep this card clean and simple.
So, pull out your paper snips, do a little fussy cutting with your favorite stamped images, and create something wonderful to celebrate the Fall Season!
