Hello Friends!
Today, I’m showcasing another version of a project made with the images and die cuts from the Season’s Blessings Bundle.
I was excited to use the basket die from the Seasonal Basket Dies. This die creates great texture for any project. The basket has a simple and relaxed look. It’s one you will surely want to own.

Fun With The Basket Die
All of the dies in the Seasonal Basket Dies perfectly match most of the images in the Season’s Basket stamp set.
- The basket die measures about 2 1/8″ on all sides.
- To achieve a deeper dimension for the basket, I die cut one Basic White and one Crumb Cake basket and attached them to each other.
- The darker shade under the white gave the basket a little more depth.
- I traced the basket and cut a plain Basic White layer to fit under the basket.
- You can use an Adhesive Sheet to attach your die cuts to each other.
- I used Multipurpose Glue and a small paint brush and lightly coated the back of each die cut.
- The Multipurpose Glue doesn’t dry immediately (it does dry quickly, though), so you have a little time to correctly position your project elements.
- If you don’t already have one, be sure to pick up a Silicone Craft Sheet.
- The Silicone Craft Sheet is a “miracle mat” when you’re using glue, or any adhesive product.
- The glue dries quickly and easily and quickly wipes away from the mat surface.
- There’s not a drop of glue or adhesive on your work surface.

So, get yourself this fun and versatile Bundle, die cut that basket, fill it with flowers and create something full of blessings!
…the only limitation is your imagination!

Happy Friday! I hope you have some fun creative time set aside for the weekend.
I designed today’s card using the Celebration Tidings Bundle. This Bundle was in the top three of my wish list and I’m so glad I got it. It’s been that one “go to” bundle for me.
My inspiration for this card was a wreath ornament. That’s what prompted me to add the circle frame behind the sentiment label.
I started with a few different color combinations and finally settled on Cinnamon Cider, Pretty Peacock and Crumb Cake. I’m usually drawn to oranges and blues when I have a choice and did it again in choosing this plaid pattern. I was contemplating cutting the sentiment label in Whisper White, but chose to go with Crumb Cake after a few color combination experiments. The Crumb Cake label gives this card a little more warmth which is what I wanted to achieve.
Coloring the pumpkins and leaves was easy with the fine tip of Light Cinnamon Cider, Light Pumpkin Pie and Light Old Olive Stampin’ Blends.

Below are my card measurements.
- Cut a standard A-2 card base in Cinnamon Cider.
- The Pretty Peacock layer is 4″ X 5 1/4″ and the Whisper White layer is 3 7/8″ X 5 1/8″.
- I cut a circle frame with the Layering Circles Framelits, cut the sentiment label, heart and sprig using the Celebration Labels Dies and hand cropped the Plaid Tidings DSP flagged banner.
- The size of the flagged banner is 1 1/4″ X 5″.
- I also hand cropped the sentiment banner. It measures 1/2″ X 3 1/8″.
Don’t forget that tomorrow is the last day of the Designer Series Paper sale. The Plaid Tidings Designer Series Paper is on sale and remember, it’s not just for the holidays. I promise that it will be one of your “go to” patterned paper packs. Details are below and also in my Stampin’ Up! Online Store.

It’s Wednesday and I have a very thoughtful Fall themed card for you today. This card is quick and easy with rich fall tones and a lot of visual texture. I thought I’d have some fun with the burlap patterned paper from the In Good Taste Designer Series Paper pack. The detail in the photographed image is amazing and I hope my photography does it the justice it deserves.
The mix of grays, browns and a weave of vanilla in this pattern is a perfect canvas for lots of deep toned colors. I chose to use Pretty Peacock, Crushed Curry and Cinnamon Cider today, but I can also see this pattern with deep pinks, deep toned greens and blues and very warm reds.

I used a Basic Gray card base with a Very Vanilla layer and added a Pretty Peacock horizontal strip. This works as a good anchor for the cluster of leaves (even though one blew away) and my sentiment layer. I really adore the clean and classy lines of the sentiment font.

Although I chose to create a Fall themed card with the Love of Leaves Bundle, you can use a leaf or two to add to a large sentiment label, a patterned paper large cropped banner, or use the negative portion of the dies to create a quick frame for a sentiment. There is definitely versatility and value in this Bundle.
So, grab some photographed pattern paper, add a few leaves and a Linen Thread bow and create something with lots of visual texture.

The only limitation is your imagination!

My heartfelt thanks to Anne Marie for choosing my card, to Ann for her warm and inviting Color Challenge and to the entire Paper Players Design Team for their inspiration.

Happy Monday!
Today, I’m sharing a bunch of sunflower thanks for Ann’s color challenge over at The Paper Players.

Ann chose a warm, seasonal color palette in Crushed Curry, Cajun Craze, Mossy Meadow and Cinnamon Cider. The colors really do make you want to sit back with a cup of warm cider. When I saw Ann’s colors, I immediately thought about using Stampin’ Up!’s Celebrate Sunflowers Bundle. I knew it would work well with these colors.
Apple cider was on my mind, so I chose to use Cinnamon Cider card stock as my card base. Its a wonder how my thoughts translate to card stock!! I’m a big fan of Mossy Meadow, so I chose that for my first card layer. I knew I would have to carry that color through the card design to keep some color balance and I did just that. I used the large sunflower framelit to crop my focal point anchor and added cropped leaf stems, both from the Sunflowers Dies and both with Mossy Meadow card stock.

I stamped three of the smaller sunflowers from the Celebrate Sunflowers stamp set using Crushed Curry, Cajun Craze and Cinnamon Cider ink and cropped them with the matching die.
My sentiment banner is simple. I wanted to keep the banner subtle because the sentiment font is mixed and striking. I thought it worked well with the lacey sunflower. That little gold metallic pearl adds a clean finishing touch.
Thank you Ann, for your warm and inviting color inspiration this week.
