The Sentimental Christmas Designer Series Paper showcases designs that bring back Christmas memories. It takes me back to the 60’s, as a child, seeing all of the presents under the tree. The presents were wrapped in paper using lanterns, candles, Christmas trees decorated with glowing candles, and striped ribbon adorned with holly. The striped ribbon also reminds me of a red and white striped peppermint candy we called “ribbon candy”. How many of you remember ribbon candy?
The Sentimental Christmas Suite Collection also includes the Sentimental Wishes Stamp and Die Bundle. The Cling Stamps are finely detailed linear stamps that include a Christmas stocking filled with presents, a bough of holly, a set of glowing candles, and a dainty ribbon bow. There are also four mixed font sentiment stamps.
The Christmas Wishes Dies coordinate with each of the stamped images. As a little added bonus, the dies cut some of the images in the Designer Series Paper. I die cut the Christmas stocking in my card directly from the Designer Series Paper. You can also cut out the ribbon bows using the coordinating die.
The Embellishments
There are coordinating Satin and Sheer ribbon in Shaded Spruce, and a sparkly set of embellishments called Drusy Adhesive-Backed Embellishments. I looked up the word “Drusy”. It refers to a natural crystal formation. The Drusy Embellishments sparkle in gold and silver, and will lay flat on your cards and projects.
The Sentimental Christmas Suite Collection has a classic elegance to it. For those who have already received the September-December 2024 Mini Catalog, the Suite is on pages 28 and 29. The Sentimental Christmas Suite Collection will be available to Customers on September 4th.

So, this is just one sample of a project you can put together quickly and easily using the Sentimental Christmas Suite. I’m sure you will enjoy creating with the Suite and remembering those glowing Christmas Trees, striped ribbon, and “ribbon candy”.

This is my first card using the Sophisticated Sled Bundle. It’s adorable and I truly enjoyed putting together the sled and ice skates. As I was assembling the dir cut pieces, I remembered lacing up my skates. That was decades ago, but it’s fun to remember.
Let’s talk about the Sophicticated Sled Bundle. The Dies are amazing. Not a detail is missing on the sled, or the skates. The sled has a separate frame and two dies for the wooden base. The skates have a separate die for the blades and laces. The boot of the skate die cuts a slit that let’s you slide the laces under the edge of the boot. This makes it so quick and easy to assemble the skates.
So, let’s make a card!
Parts & Pieces
I cut a Pool Party cardstock card base 4 1/4″ x 11″ and scored it at 5 1/2″.
There’s a white mat layer cut 4 1/8″ x 5 3/8″.
The top patterned paper layer is 4″ x 5 1/4″.
There’s a large background, (shadow die) for the sled. I used Basic Beige cardstock for this.
The base of the sled and the blades of the skates are die cut using Brushed Metallic Gold ccardstock.
The wooden top of the sled is die cut using a piece of Designeer Series Paper from the Country Woods Pack.
In the Stamp Set, there’s a stamp for the skates. I stamped that with Pool Party ink and cut the skates off. This is the ribbon bow that hangs the skates.
I die cut the greenery with one of the dies and Soft Seafoam cardstock.
As you can see, the skates and laces are die cut with Basic White and Pool Party cardstock.
I did mention this above, the skates have a slit that fits the edge of the die cut laces… so easy to assemble.
Once you have everything cut, it is easy to put the pieces together. I assembled the sled first, then the skates. I attached the Soft Sea Foam leaf cluster to the top of the sled, then added the ribbon hanger and skates.
The decorated sled is attached with Dimensionals.

My card is showcasing more patterns featured in the Iconoc Celebrations Designer Series Paper Pack. This is another simple design you can duplicate quickly and make a bunch using the Iconic Celebrations Suite, or your favorite products.
I am really enjoying this Designer Series Paper. I’ve used only a few of the designs, and each time I go through it, I get inspired for more projects.
Today, I used the Misty Moonlight snowflake design and got a little surprise. There’s a die in the Iconic Imagery Dies that cuts the snowflakes directly from the patterned paper. I always love this feature of the coordinating products.
So, let’s make a card!
Pieces And Parts
I cut a Thick Basic White cardstock card base 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ and scored it at 4 1/4″ on the 8 1/2″ side.
The snowflake card front layer is 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″.
I cut a Basic White cardstock layer 3″ x 3 3/4″ to act as a “frame” for my diagonal patterned paper layers.
The pine bough patterned paper layer is 2 5/8″ x 3 1/2″.
I cut the striped patterned paper layer 2 1/2″ x 3 3/8″.
Tip: It’s always fun to use diagonal offset layers for a card design. I found that if you cut the top layer slightly smaller than the bottom layer, you will be able to easily center one offset layer over the other. (It helps you to create equal distance on all four corners). Take a look at the offset layers on my card.
I die cut a few snowflakes from the patterned paper, and die cut the sentiment with dies from the Iconic Imagery Dies.
I stamped the sentiment on the inside using images from the Iconic Imagery Stamp Set.
For a little sparkle, I added a few of the Clear Ribboned Adhesive Backed Dots. They’re one of the proeucts in the Iconic Celebrations Suite.
I attached all of the card layers with glue. The snowflakes and sentiment are attached with Dimensionals.
Do you love to cut and match patterned paper? I do. This is one of those designs that easily allows you to do just that.
So, cut a few patterned paper layers, die cut matching elements, add a little sparkle, and crate something to share peace and joy!

Thre are so many pretty patterns in the Iconic Celebrations Designer Series Paper pack, I had to cut into it again. This is a simple thank you card that can be used at any time of the year. Using the Iconic Inagery Bundle, and the Iconic Celebrations DSP pack, you can easily make this a Thanksgiving or Fall-themed card. There are little leaf stamps and coordinating dies. My last post showcased this little candy basket. I had so much fun making this, that I thought I would share a Video Tutorial with you so you can put this basket together along with me.
You will need:
A cut 6″ square of either cardstock or patterned paper.
16 1 7/8″ squares of patterned paper, if you’re making your basket with cardstock.
A cut cardstock strip 1/2″ x 6″.
A cut strip of patterned paper 3/8″ x 6″.
Glue the patterned paper strip to the cardstock strip.
Any embellishments you may want to use to decorate the basket.
