Here are the new 2024-2026 Stampin’ Up! In Colors. Each year, Stampin’ Up! adds a color refresh to the current colors. There are always five new “In Colors” that are on trend and perfectly work with the current color families. These ccolors are in the inventory for a period of two years. The new In Colors are Petunia Pop, Summer Splash, PeachPie, Shy Shamrock, and Pretty In Pink.
Let’s Have Fun With Color!
Most all of the Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators have received their copy of the new 2024-2025 Annual Catalog, and now customers will begin to receive them. If you’ve placed an order with me over the past six months, you’re on my mailing list to receive your copy.
This year, the catalog is very different from past years. Not only does it display the beautiful new product inventory, it is also a paper crafting reference tool. There’s a section on Card Design that includes sketches for inspiration, as well as a Color Theory Section that includes a large color wheel to help you coordinate the Stampin’ Up! family of colors.
Let’s find color inspiration using the new In Color, Petunia Pop, the color wheel, and Color Theory!
Below is a sample of Triadic Colors using the new In Colors. These are colors that are evenly spaced around the wheel.
Here’s a sample of Analogpus Colors. These are colors that are next to each other on the wheel.
Complementary Colors are opposite on the color wheel.
Monochromatic Colors are those that are shades and tints of the same color.
Now that we found some new color inspiration, let’s make a care showcasing the new In Colors!
Parts And Pieces
I cut a Thick Basic White Slimline card base 6 1/2″ x 7″, and scored it at 3 1/2″ on the 7″ side.
The Basic Black mat layer is 3 3/8″ x 6 3/8″.
I cut the top Basic White cardstock layer 6 1/4″ x 3 1/4″.
I stamped the birthday cake image from the Hooray For Surprises Bundle using each of the new In Colors, and die cut them with the coordinating die.
The Hoorray For Surprises Bundle is on the Last Chance List at the Bundled pricing. It is in the new Annual Catalog, but there are two separate order numbers and the 10% Bundled Savings will not be offered. If you love it, be sure to add it to your Wish List. It’s available at the discounted price until April 30th.
The little flowers are die cuts from the Hooray For Surprises Dies.
I embellished the flowers with the upcoming 2024-2026 In Color Resin Dots.
I stamped the sentiment (from the Sweetly Scripted Stamp Set – Available now in the Online Exclusives) with Bleck Memento ink.
So, have fun creating color inspiration for your unique projects using the new Color Wheel. You’ll see it in the new Annual Catalog. It goes live on May 1st.

This card kit will be available through April 30th.
Today’s card is a Mini Slimline design using the Happiness Abounts Bundle and Hues of Happiness Designer Series Paper.
It took little effort on my part to put this card together. The Hues of Happiness Designer Series Paper has a few color combinations of flowers and watercolor washed designs. The paper is double sided. Floral images are on one side and the watercolor wash patterns are on the other. Once I decided on my color combination, the rest was easy.
Through most of my card making and designing, I didn’t lean toward purples. Lately, shades of purple are appealing more to me. Fresh Freesia is a beautiful newer shade and our new Orchid Oasis is gorgeous! Stampin’ Up! is filling in their color palette with more fresh, fun purples.
The length of the Slimline design gives space to showcase the beauty of the Designer Series Paper, the intricate layer die cut, and the die cut flowers.
Today’s Card Pieces And Parts
I’m showing the parts and pieces of this card in the photo below. I put together a PDF Tutorial you can download and print for layer measurement and card assembly details.
I hope you enjoy re-creating this card as much as I enjoyed creating it.
So, cut your patterned paper, add a die cut layer, some flowers and create something beautiful and happy!
… the only limitation is your imagination.
A Note From Me
I found envelopes that fit this card nicely. I purchased them from Amazon. They are White Monarch Envelopes (3 7/8″ x 7 1/2″). They’re sold in a pack of 100 for $12.95. The quality is good. They have a little substance to them.
Here’s a peek at the Tea Boutique Suite. When you open Stampin’ Up!’s new 2022-2023 Annual Catalog, you’ll see amazing color layouts among the first few pages. This will certainly get your creative mojo going. It did mine.
The first Suite of products featured is the Tea Boutique Suite. From the Cup of Tea Bundle to the Tea Boutique Designer Series Paper, Cards & Envelopes, the bright colors will inspire you.
As a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator, I’m able to pre-order new products. The Tea Boutique Suite was at the top of my list. The Suite features the new In Colors in such a carefree way. I thought it would be fun to share some “Tea” with you along with another Slimline Mini card design.
The finished card size is 3 1/2″ x 7″. A 7″ square cut cardstock scored at 3 1/2″ gives you the card base. I added layers of Starry Night cardstock and a pattern from the Tea Boutique Designer Series Paper. The tea cup is die cut using two of the Teacup Dies. I cut the tea bag tag with one of the Dies. It’s stamped with a sentiment from the Cup of Tea stamp set. A small piece of White Baker’s Twine tucked under the tea cup holds the tea tag in place.
I have more projects planned with this suite over the next two weeks. Be sure to check back.
So, pull out a few of your bright colors and create a fun Mini Slimline card.

I checked in on thePaper Players Challenge this week and saw the Theme was Love & Friendship. Stamping with the Paper Players tends to bring me back to my stamp set archives. There I found my “Seaside Sketches” stamp set. The rubber stamps are on wood blocks! It is fun to go back in time!
Today’s Card Bits And Pieces
Along with the Seaside Sketches stamp set, I used sentiments from the Create With Me stamp set. This set is in the current SU Annual Catalog on page 36. Love the larges sentiments!
The Mini Slimline Basic White card base is cut to a 7″ square and scored at 3 1/2″.
The layer of patterned paper is 7″ X 3 1/2″ and covers the card front.
The Misty Moonlight mat layer is 3 1/8″ x 6 5/8″.
For the stamped layer, I cut Basic White cardstock 3″ x 6 1/2″.
The sentiments are stamped with Misty Moonlight ink and I used Tuxedo Black Memento ink for the image.
Ink and a Blender Pen made the water coloring possible. Love those Blender Pens!
The inside sentiment, part of the Seaside Sketches set, is perfect for this challenge.
The font is small. It says “the best things in life are not free, but priceless”.
I’m happy to be back in the Paper Players’ Gallery. I always find lots of inspiration there.
So, pull out your ink and Blender Pens, add some color to a simple image and create something to celebrate love and friendship.
It’s Friday! We’re getting ready for blizzard conditions here in New Jersey. Expecting lots of snow tonight into tomorrow. I’m planning to spend some creative time in my craft room. Hope you can spend time with your stamps, paper and ink also.
Today’s card is a Mini Slimline. The finished card size is 7″ x 3 1/2″.
There’s plenty of rainbows and sunshine in this very “happy” birthday card. Everything I enjoy most about card making is featured… mixing patterned paper, simple fussy cutting, and a fun color palette. Oh, and remembering the design “rule of thirds”. Everything in threes makes element placement easy.
Today’s Card Bits & Pieces
The Basic White card base is a 7″ square scored at 3 1/2″.
The striped panel of patterned paper is 3 1/2″ x 6″. Attach it to the center of the card front.
This is one of the patterns in the Rainbows & Sunshine Designer Series Paper. It’s 6″ x 6″ and packed with bright colors and fun patterns. It’s in the Sale-A-Bration Brochure and FREE with a $50 product purchase.
The smaller patterned paper panel measures 2 1/2″ x 5″. Attach it to the right side of the card front.
All of the rainbows are fussy cut directly from one of the patterns in the paper pack.
The sentiment, stamped with Flirty Flamingo ink, is from the Slim Sayings stamp set. This set has large sentiments that work perfectly with the Slimline card design. They’re great for a quick and easy A-2 card as well.
Cut a 3/4″ inch strip of Basic White cardstock for the sentiments. Stamp the “Happy Birthday” sentiment twice and cut the words apart to attach to the card front.
The versatile Classic Matte Dots are perfect for a little embellishment.
So, get out your favorite patterned paper, match up two layers, fussy cut three large images and create something very happy!
For each $50 or $100 product purchase, you can choose a FREE qualifying product from the Sale-A-Bration Brochure. And, there’s a FREE gift from me. The Classic Matte Dots will find their way onto many of your projects. They’re clean and simple and are a perfect finishing touch.
