Happy Saturday!

Last night, I held my February Stamp Camp. Wow! What a wonderful group of ladies. There are seven very talented stampers.
I tease that they are a "tough crowd", but they are all so creatively independent! They always take my projects, re-invent them, and the end result is at least three or more versions of a single project. It's always fun to see what they come up with. There's a lot of chatting and some very beautiful card making. I can't wait for next month!
The Flower Sticky Note Tote was one of our projects. I was inspired by one of our Stampin' Pretty Pals, Patti MacLeith. I saw her version and decided to add this project to my Stamp Camp. The ladies loved it. Thank you Patti.
Here's the "how to":
- Cut a 3 1/2" X 11" piece of card stock.
- Score at 5 1/4", 5 1/2" and 5 3/4".
- Emboss on the front side.
- Fold in half and punch holes for the "tote" handle. (Here, we used the 3/4" scallop circle punch.
- Attach the sticky note pad using a piece of sticky strip.
- Add a small piece of adhesive backed Velcro just above one side of the punched "handle".
- Embellish your front.
For the embellishment, I used a Tangerine Tango Scallop Circle layered with a Pool Party flower from the Pop Up Posies Kit, and the 3/4" scallop circle punched from the "tote" handle. It seemed not to be enough, so I added a small punched flower with some Summer Starfruit card stock, and a little bling. Some of the ladies used pearls…very pretty also. Some also used Linen Thread to tie a bow at the "tote" handle…pretty, pretty!
The bottom border is from the Sycamore Street Designer Series Paper cropped using the Scallop Border Punch.
A cute, fun project!

Here's a cheery card! Some bright colors, polka dots, and Summer Smoochies Designer Series Paper. Wow! I like it. It's shouts "fun"!
All this cheeriness, and making this card was a snap. It's definitely another "Quick and Easy".
Here's the "how to":
- Cut a standard A2 card, 4 1/4" X 5 1/2" in Whisper White;
- The red and white mini polka dot base is 4 1/2" X 4", then scallop the bottom edge with the scallop edge punch;
- Cut a Real Red strip of card stock 1" X 5 1/2", and stamp the bottom right corner with your sentiment;
- Cut an Island Indigo strip of card stock 2" X 5 1/2";
- Attach the real red to the Island Indigo cardstock;
- Punch three 1 3/4" circles from patterned paper;
- Punch three flowers using the Boho Blossom punch;
- Punch one 1/2" circle from patterned paper.
- Arrange the circles on the Island Indigo card stock, attach the flowers and add some bling.

Stampin' Up! has so many beautiful Designer Series Patterned Paper and coordinating card stock, you can pick a bold look or a softer look. You can choose a different sentiment or create a different embellishment. This card design will work hard for you.
I think it's a keeper!

Today, I wanted to try out one of my new stamps. "Sunshine" is one of Stampin' Up!'s new "Single Stamps". It's definitely a stamp to own.
I thought the Summer Starfruit and Whisper White were a very fitting combination for the stamp.
I created the "sun" from different punches. Here's how I did it:
- Punch out a 1" circle. Fold it in half horizontally, then vertically. Now you have a circle with a folded cross. (I love those folded circles, they always keep everything straight. I penciled this one so it would be easier to see).

- Punch 8 pennants using the Petite Pennants Builder Punch and attach them to the circle making sure they line up with the horizontal and vertical lines on the circle. By doing this, all your "pennants" will be evenly spaced around the circle.
- Attach a 1 1/4" punched circle to cover your original white circle and embellish.

I had fun with this, and hope you do, too!
Happy Stampin' and Punchin'…

It really is a "Happy Day" for me. I love being part of the Pals Blog Hop and so enjoy seeing all the Pals' beautiful creations.
Once again, I'm crazy with the patterned paper. If I'm not tying bows, I'm cutting and cropping patterned paper….Today, I'm showcasing the Print Poetry Designer Series Paper Stack, (a true favorite of mine). As Stampin' Up! says…"these are smashing designs in a fun pad." The colors coordinate with all of Stampin' Up!'s 2012-2014 beautiful and bold "In Color" collection.
Here, I used the coordinating Polka Dots and Stripes paper, accented with a grand Raspberry Ripple flower, cropped with the Floral Frames Framelits (now, say that three times fast!!), embossed with the Perfect Polka Dots Embossing Folder, and topped with a Summer Starfruit Boho Blossoms punch accent flower!
The Rich Razzleberry Brights Glimmer Brad gives the flower a little dazzle, and for some more fun, I added dimensionals to each floral layer. A little linen thread border gives my card a more informal, relaxed look, and all of this sits comfortably on a Very Vanilla card base.
The "Happy Day" sentiment is from the Ciao, Baby stamp set stamped with Raspberry Ripple Ink.
Such a Happy Flower, such Pretty Paper, and such a "Happy Day"!!
Hope you enjoy, and remember….express your creativity!

Today I wanted to showcase the More Amore' Specialty Designer Series Paper from the new Spring Catalog. I love patterned paper and very much enjoy creating cards with it. This pack is simply beautiful and so much fun to use.
The featured colors are Primrose Petals, which is one of the newest 2012-2014 In Colors, and Pool Party, which is one of the 2011-2013 In Colors…and just plain pretty! Since I ordered the Pool Party Core'dinations Card Stock and have been working with it, I'm really liking the color. I think it might become a serious favorite of mine! Look out Midnight Muse!!!
This card is so quick and easy to make. I punched out the flags, "hung" them on some linen thread held up by two brads, hand cropped a flagged banner embellished with a beautiful Primrose Petals Dahlia, and stamped the Sassy Salutations very very Sassy "Happy Birthday". Done in a flash, and pretty cute…don't you think? Hope my niece likes it, it's going to her very soon.
Hope you enjoy, and remember…
…"the only limitation is your imagination!"
Exprss your creativity!
